Mindful Movement Florida offers health and wellness programming for Pinellas County youth and adults from historically excluded populations. We deeply believe that representation matters, and one of the main ways we will have successful outcomes through MM is by engaging with historically excluded communities and people who are also from these communities.
Our Reach
We’re proud to serve youth across Pinellas County, FL, through impactful programs in 12 schools and 4 after-school enrichment settings.
Title 1 & Private Schools:
Ten Title 1 schools in Pinellas County

After-School Enrichment Programs:
Two programs with the Shirley Proctor Puller Foundation
Two Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast sites
One City of St. Petersburg Cohorts of Champions program
Our team visits these schools and organizations 1–2 times weekly,
bringing mindfulness, movement, and enrichment directly to the community.
Eighty percent of youth participating in peer counseling will demonstrate increased emotional intelligence after six months of engagement in Mindful Movement sessions.
Sixty percent of youth served will report an improved ability to self-regulate their emotions after completing a semester of Mindful Movement programming.
Extending Our Reach to Adults and Children
Mindful Movement also supports adults through 5 weekly community classes held at accessible locations across South St. Petersburg, including:
In total, Mindful Movement serves approximately 1,250 students annually, encompassing both youth and adults.
Mindful Movement continues to make a meaningful impact year-round by reaching diverse groups in schools and the community.
400 unduplicated students participate in our school-based programs, with a new group joining each semester.
800 duplicated participants regularly attend our community classes and after-school enrichment programs.
